Add-on tightening channel system for façades and roofs
The add-on tightening channel system allows direct attachment to a wide range of statically supporting steel substructures (T-shaped profiles, commercial steel profiles) for designing facades and roofs. Support structures can also be mounted independent of the add-on channel. The add-on tightening channel is then fitted on site. The add-on channel is made from aluminium (screw connection) or from Sendzimir galvanised steel (welding connection). Gaskets are EPDM rubber based, which consists of non-cellular elastomer components intended for the construction of curtain walls. The special gasket geometry prevents moisture from penetrating; condensation is safely channeled away. All joints and seal penetrations are waterproofed with the exception of the screw fittings. Gaskets are inserted during assembly of profiles and glazing. The external caps are in aluminum or in stainless steel, with screw connection concealed or on view.

Sculptural façades – Berlin (D)
The project is distinguished by the sculptural facade: an undulated shell which gives great character to the building and offers the residents in the apartments total privacy and excellent sun screening. While it is mainly a residential building, the ground floor houses a series of commercial businesses, and the various types of apartments begin from the first floor, ranging from homes with a private garden to conventional apartments, to lofts that have an exclusive access to the green roofs that cover the entire roof of the building. The steel window facades provide a view of the surrounding greenery.
